D&N Engineering Supplies is a family business founded in 1974 by Darrell & Norma Morris with their two sons Ashley and Linsey as consultants in temperature measurement solutions in the ranges of -200 °C to 1800 °C. With their expertise, they quickly became the specialists and a Local Australian Manufacturer and designers of Thermocouples, RTD and temperature related solutions within the Hunter Valley and Northern NSW.

With contracts with Power Stations, Aluminium Smelters (as far as Gladstone Qld), local heavy industry, research and development departments within the private sector and government funded University projects. Thermocouples and associated equipment are the foundations of our business, With in-house research & development, we are able to keep ahead of the latest trends in industry.

In 2005 D&N Engineering Supplies expanded their Workshop facility in Lambton NSW to encompass adjacent properties and provided complete in-house CNC Machining and fabrication services. This Allowed for in-house production of all thermocouple fittings and thermal related fabrications for heavy Industries, lowering delivery times to customers and allowing complete product in-house quality inspection to suit their customer’s requirements.

In 2006 D&N Engineering purchased GL McGavin Pty Ltd a manufacturer of Non-Contact Voltage Detectors and in 2010 acquired a key supplier, Pritchard Electronics a Contract Electronics Manufacturer. With these additions the Morris Group of Companies was formed providing D&N Engineering Supplies with a turnkey Solution to the manufacture all temperature related products.
